Basketball

Open to all 5th - 8th grade children actively enrolled in our parish school or religious education programs.

Registration is held each spring for this sport. No team shall have more than 12 players (maximum). If the number of registered players exceeds this number, the Basketball Coordinator must obtain approval from the Athletic Board to have a larger team. Alternatively, if numbers permit, we may split into two or more teams. Evaluations are required before splitting teams.

Split evenly based on talent.

Divide into A and B teams. In the event a 7th/8th grader decides they do not want to be considered for the A team, they would not be required to attend the player evaluation days.

November through March

Twice per week for 90 minutes. Days TBD.

Twice per week for 120 minutes. Days TBD.

ALL teams play in the Parkview Parochial League. Games are typically played on Saturday or Sunday between 9am and 4pm.

Parents are required to volunteer a few hours each season to run our home game operations. A volunteer sign-up will be sent before the season.

Teams may participate in pre-season, mid-season, and post season tournaments subject to following limitations:

5th & 6th GRADE TEAMS: Limited to participation in three tournaments

7th & 8th GRADE TEAMS: limited to participation in four tournaments

8th grade teams, if invited, may play in the Padre Serra Invitational, an archdiocese wide tournament at the conclusion of the season, in addition to the tournaments above.
